"As you know, just being a member of the Better Business Bureau doesn't mean anything. I checked the BBB website for the records of a number of vehicle shippers who were members of the BBB. Many of them had horrible records. (Apparently they are counting heavily on people being impressed with the BBB logo and being too lazy to check the details.) I checked your rating...A+...no complaints within the last 3 years. Congratulations. I would imagine that an A+ rating would be extremely difficult to achieve for a large domestic and international shipper. Repeat business is probably a significant reason for your success.
I got pricing from 8 different vehicle transport companies. One of the “B” rated companies called me back on 2 occasions to change their quoted price. Their first price was $100 less than yours, their second price was about $40 less and their final price...before I stopped answering their calls...was about $10 higher. Uniworld International was the last company I called.
Understanding that sometimes "cheap" turns out to be very expensive, I picked Uniworld International because everything that I read gave me confidence that you had the ability to avoid the horror stories that were posted by some of the “victims” of your competitors. It was well worth the small additional premium. Just watching the truck come carefully down the block and carefully unload my undamaged car from their load of other undamaged vehicles, told me that I had done the right thing. The drivers were bright, concerned, professional and courteous. They also had a sense of humor...good people. I couldn't have hoped for a better experience.
Please understand that I have much better things to do with my life than write a glowing recommendation for an automobile shipper. However, when anyone provides an outstanding service, in a world filled with cutthroat, lowlife competitors, it is my pleasure to be able to let others know.
